The Experience Connection app for RYANAIR is a picture based sending app that allows passengers to share experiences that are displayed at the arrivals terminal for everyone to see. The app aims to create a buzz round RYANAIR and offers an experience unique to flying with them. In return for using the app customers gain points linked to their account which they can use to save money on flights, duty free and car hire.
The marketing strategy aims to capitalize on those intimate moments created when people meet in airports after a long time and shares these moments with everyone else. In today’s social age sharing experiences has become something which is very poplular and the app could create unique stories creating more exposure for RYANAIR as a customer focused brand. This original project was completed during study at Shillington College but has since been updated to reflect experience gained in the industry.
